Project Name:
Power Plant Automatic Startup/Shutdown

Facility:
Combined-Cycle Units – TX / MS / OK

Project Scope:
Distributed Control System Engineering & Design. Provided complete engineering services for the development of control system logic to fully automate the power plant startup and shutdown control sequence. The plants’ DCS logic was retro-fit to allow automatic sequencing of the balance of plant control for a fully automatic startup and shutdown from a ready or operational condition.

Project Name:
Seo-Inchon Power Facility

Facility:
Korea Electric Power Co.

Project Scope:
Control System Engineering & Design. Provided control system engineering, B.O.P.
plant instrumentation, and control valves and developed calculations for plant controls (set-points, spans, valve sizing, etc.). The facility is powered by eight (8) GE Frame 7 Combustion Turbines, eight (8) Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and four (4) GE Steam Turbines, producing a total of ~2000 MW.

Project Name:
Entergy Power Corporation

Facility:
Pilgrim Station 600 MW Power Plant

Project Scope:
Responsible for performing Feedwater system dynamic analysis / calculations,
establishing valve test boundaries, participating in Factory Acceptance Test, and providing field
technical consultation associated with the replacement of the feed water regulator valves. ControlPoint engineers worked closely with power plant personnel and the valve manufacturer to provide complete technical documentation.

Project Name:
Emergency Generation–Town of Wallingford, CT

Facility:
CMEEC / Power Generation Plant

Project Scope:
Electrical Design & Protective Relay Settings
Provided electrical engineering and design for four 2MW emergency electric generators to relieve power supply concerns. Scope included electrical tie-in to the grid, protective relay design and settings, grounding system, and coordination of electrical controls. This project was design complete and on-line in a four-week period under an extremely tight design / install schedule.
